The fastest feedback you get is when you test on production.
Said no one ever.
I have worked as a Linux administrator for the past 3 years supporting client infrastructure, mainly in US companies and French-speaking customers in Europe. I helped maintain both on-premise and cloud (mostly AWS and VMWare) Linux servers, and worked closely with storage, networking and business teams. I also has experience working independently, ensuring the continuity of environments on an on-call basis.
My interest in Linux has continued uninterrupted since 2005 when I first installed Slackware 10.2. I especially enjoy writing scripts in Bash but also know the basics of Python, Perl and Java. I have also experience as DevOps, as I was co-responsible for CI/CD on a major financial project.
- My learned profession is legal counsel, which I have practiced for more than a dozen years specializing in high-tech and copyright law.
- In my spare time I enjoy cycling, gardening and practicing shooting sports. I live in a small, several hundred years old town in southern Poland.
